With Farmers Mastercard® you can add up to four Additional Cardholders – ideal if you’re wanting to make your account available to a partner or other family member. Additional Cardholders share the same credit limit, and can use their card to make purchases on your account – including Long Term Finance. Every purchase they make earns you more Farmers Club Points*.
Who can become an Additional Cardholder?
You can invite Additional Cardholders via My Account. They’ll need to be at least 16 years of age, have a New Zealand driver license, an email address, and a mobile number that’s different to yours.
Other things to know
Unlike with a joint account, the Additional Cardholder is not liable for any purchases they make, or the outstanding balance on the account – as the Primary Cardholder, you are liable for this. You’ll be able to view Additional Cardholder transactions on your monthly Statement and in My Account.
*Applies to all purchases which exclude cash advances, balance transfers, fees, interest charges or quasi-cash transactions. Farmers Club Points will appear on your Farmers Club Account, provided you have a valid Farmers Club Card linked to your Farmers Mastercard Account.
